James White is the director of Alpha and Omega Ministries, a Christian apologetics organization based in Phoenix, Arizona. He is a professor, having taught Greek, Systematic Theology, and various topics in the field of apologetics. He has authored or contributed to more than twenty books, including The King James Only Controversy, The Forgotten Trinity, The Potter’s Freedom, and The God Who Justifies. He is an accomplished debater, having engaged in more than seventy-five moderated, public debates with leading proponents of Roman Catholicism, Islam, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Mormonism, as well as critics such as Bart Ehrman, John Dominic Crossan, Marcus Borg, and John Shelby Spong. He is an elder of the Phoenix Reformed Baptist Church, has been married to Kelli for more than twenty-seven years, and has two children, Joshua and Summer.

REPORT
We had a very successful Quarterly Gathering. The crowd was a little lower than we hoped (estimated at 450) but the Word was proclaimed with power and conviction. Dr. White based his message on what has changed since the Reformation and what has not changed. It was challenging and sobering. Because it was not our venue, we did not have the resources to tape the message, so unfortuantely we will not be able to put it on the internet. The fellowship afterwards was great, and the venue was beautiful — something we as RB’s are not used to! LOL.
Overall — God was glorified. Pray too for a meeting that was held on Friday at TRBC-La Mirada in which about 150 Biola students attended to hear Dr. White speak on the dangers of “Middle Knowledge”. A few dozen came back Sunday AM to worship with the saints in La Mirada — so another purpose was served.
Oops, I should have said a dozen or so came back. A few dozen would be like 36+.
